Job Description

Original Roadhouse Grill is a proud family-owned American steakhouse renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and authentic Roadhouse style menu. Delivering a fun and casual dining experience, the restaurant offers hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone barbecue ribs, and freshly baked rolls, making it a beloved gathering place for families and groups looking for hearty, flavorful meals in a friendly, energetic environment. Known for its down-home vibe and buckets of peanuts that encourage a relaxed social setting, Original Roadhouse Grill balances high-quality food with exceptional customer service, reflecting its core values of family, community, and genuine hospitality.

The Bartender role at Original Roadhouse Grill is an integral position responsible for preparing, mixing, pouring, and garnishing a wide variety of alcoholic and specialty drinks for guests both at the bar and those being served at tables by waitstaff. This role involves not only expert beverage preparation but also attentive guest service, including processing food and drink orders, delivering meals at the bar, ensuring guest satisfaction through regular check-backs, and handling payments efficiently. The Bartender's responsibilities extend to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and sanitary conditions of the bar, organizing stocks and supplies, and adhering strictly to all health, safety, and legal standards related to beverage service. With a typical shift involving standing for most of the time, lifting and reaching for supplies, and working in an environment that involves exposure to some heat and cleaning chemicals, this position requires both physical stamina and interpersonal skills.

This is an hourly employment opportunity paying $16.90 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, paid sick leave, and access to a 401(k) retirement plan. Employees also benefit from an Employee Assistance Plan, career development opportunities, and a dynamic, energetic work atmosphere. The Bartender plays a crucial role in creating memorable experiences that align with Original Roadhouse Grill's family-friendly and fun ethos, requiring professionalism, a well-groomed appearance, and the ability to engage warmly with guests. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, the Bartender is a key member of the front-of-house team who helps uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellent service and hospitality in a vibrant and welcoming environment.
