As a Bartender at Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience. This is more than just mixing drinks; it is about delivering experiences worth toasting to. The position is crafted for individuals who have a passion for hospitality, a deep knowledge of wine and beverages, and the desire to create genuine connections with guests. You will maintain a well-stocked and organized station, ensure adherence to Cooper's Hawk recipes and portion standards, and provide insightful recommendations of food, wine, and cocktails tailored to guest preferences. Additionally, you will educate guests about the Cooper's Hawk Wine Club, inviting them to join a community that offers unique perks and benefits.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred
  • Strong communication and guest engagement skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic wine knowledge is a plus
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Arrive prepared with your station stocked, garnishes prepped, and all tools in working order
  • Maintain full knowledge of Cooper’s Hawk food, drink, and wine menus, as well as steps of service
  • Ensure opening and mid-shift checklists are completed so the bar is ready for guests from the start
  • Keep your bar area clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the shift
  • Wash and sterilize glassware as needed to prevent delays in service
  • Communicate clearly with servers, food runners, hosts, and the kitchen to ensure orders are accurate and timely
  • Greet each guest warmly, using their name when possible, and engage in friendly conversation
