Grounded Table is a distinguished wine country restaurant and pub located in the historic downtown area of McMinnville, Oregon. Additionally, the restaurant collaborates with other provisioners dedicated to sustainable practices such as regenerative farming and small-batch craft production. The role of Bartender at Grounded Table is not just about serving drinks but about creating genuine connections and crafting inspired cocktails for guests. This position is perfect for individuals who aspire to impress guests with their beverage expertise and mixology techniques while working in an expertly maintained and inviting atmosphere. As a bartender, you will prepare and serve a wide variety of liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages for both bar and restaurant patrons. The role requires attentiveness to customer needs and preferences, providing well-informed recommendations that enhance the guest experience. You'll also manage bar cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food and beverage regulations to maintain high standards of service and safety. This bartending role demands a guest-focused approach with a strong emphasis on hospitality, teamwork, and excellence in crafting cocktails that elevate the overall dining experience.

Job Requirements
- Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
- working knowledge and ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks
- working knowledge of the proper operation of all bar equipment
- working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
- working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures
- current State Food Handler's License and State Mixologist Permit required
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of related education, training and/or experience
- extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service
- excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers
- ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant
- positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks for bar and restaurant patrons
- interact with customers, taking orders and serving food and drinks
- assess bar customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- maintain the bar and keep it clean and organized
- comply with all food and beverage regulations
