Job Description

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is a leading entertainment and gaming company that has been serving Oklahoma for over two decades. As a tribal enterprise of the Cherokee Nation, it operates nine unique properties across Northeastern Oklahoma, each reflecting the brand's commitment to providing exceptional experiences. These properties offer a diverse range of attractions including gaming with slots and table games, luxurious hotels, fine dining casinos, live entertainment from both local and national performers, horse racing, golf courses, KOA campgrounds, as well as meeting and event spaces. Cherokee Nation Entertainment emphasizes quality and guest satisfaction, consistently delivering memorable experiences that cater to a broad spectrum of visitors. Their commitment extends beyond entertainment, highlighting a dedication to the well-being and economic growth of the Cherokee Nation and the communities it serves.

The Bartender role at Cherokee Nation Entertainment places you at the center of the beverage operations, contributing not only to the exceptional service but also to the vibrant atmosphere that guests enjoy. As a Bartender, you are responsible for crafting high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standardized recipes, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction through strict adherence to alcohol safety regulations. This position demands excellent customer service skills, deep knowledge of drink recipes, and a commitment to maintaining an efficient and clean bar environment. Being a Bartender here is more than just mixing drinks; it involves creating an inviting, lively atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience across various venues.

Working as a Bartender with Cherokee Nation Entertainment also means joining one of the largest and most successful tribal businesses in the United States. You will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic hospitality environment that includes gaming, live performances at iconic venues like Hard Rock Live, diverse dining options ranging from casual to upscale, and access to luxury accommodations and amenities. The company supports career growth and personal development, providing competitive benefits such as comprehensive health care plans, fertility care, telemedicine, and onsite health services at select locations, ensuring your well-being is a priority.

This is a full-time role where flexibility is valued, as you will be required to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. The job requires standing for long periods, frequent bending and kneeling, and the ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess at least one year of relevant experience. They must also be able to obtain various licenses pertaining to alcoholic beverage service and gaming authority requirements.

By joining Cherokee Nation Entertainment as a Bartender, you're not just taking a job but becoming part of a community dedicated to excellence, culture, and entertainment. You'll enjoy a workplace that values diversity, provides performance incentives, and fosters an environment of respect and professional growth. Whether it's serving drinks, ensuring compliance with safety standards, or engaging with guests to create memorable moments, your role is vital to sustaining the brand’s legacy of exceptional hospitality and entertainment.
