Job Description

Red Lobster is a well-established restaurant chain that has been delighting seafood lovers for over fifty years. Founded as a family-owned restaurant with a vision to offer a unique connection to seafood and coastal experiences, Red Lobster has grown into a family of more than 500 restaurants across various communities. This expansion has not diminished the company's core mission of creating memorable dining experiences, providing a welcoming environment where customers feel like part of the family. The company deeply values the communities it serves, transforming new customers into familiar faces who return for their favorite meals and special moments. Known for its passion for quality seafood and its commitment to guest satisfaction, Red Lobster is more than just a place to eat; it is a gathering space where friendships are forged and traditions are celebrated.

Red Lobster is currently offering an exciting opportunity for individuals to join their team as a Bartender. This role is integral to enhancing the guest experience by delivering exceptional service at the bar. Bartenders will play a key role in welcoming guests with a smile, preparing the bar before service hours, and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of drinks according to established standards and recipes. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to upholding food safety standards. This job offers weekly pay and competitive salaries, flexible work schedules, and comprehensive insurance options including medical, dental, and vision starting at under $10 per week. Additional benefits include life and short-term disability insurance, voluntary benefits, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay (subject to eligibility), discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount on dining as a guest.

The bartender's responsibilities go beyond mixing drinks; they are ambassadors of the brand who suggest drink pairings, take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, and maintain an inviting atmosphere by engaging with guests. They also oversee cleanliness and organization of the bar area, replenish supplies as needed, and efficiently handle billing and payments while making guests feel appreciated. Red Lobster values the professional growth of its employees and provides extensive training and career advancement opportunities. The work environment fosters teamwork, attention to detail, and a supportive culture dedicated to employee success.

Physical requirements for this role include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds, as well as stand for extended shifts lasting between 8 to 12 hours. Applicants must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States. Red Lobster prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer that provides a welcoming workplace for all individuals irrespective of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. As Red Lobster looks toward the future, it continues to invest in its people and aims to enhance its reputation as a top employer in the restaurant industry. Joining Red Lobster as a Bartender means becoming part of a dynamic team where your contributions are valued and where there are plenty of opportunities to grow and succeed professionally.
