Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience in luxury establishments
- Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience as a bartender in a luxury establishment
- Proven bartender experience, including experience in a similar position
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in job-related English
- Understanding of food and safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent understanding of various mixology methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work varied shift and flexible schedule in a high paced, member facing and noisy environment
Job Duties
- Responsible for the preparation, organization, and presentation of cocktails from assigned station
- Communicates frequently and clearly to the lead bartender as to orders and progress on orders
- Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation and health regulations and club requirements
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
- use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental and club policies and procedures
- Meet with bar lead and floor manager to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes, and other information pertinent to the job performance
- Inspect the cleanliness and organization of the workstations
- rectify any deficiencies and maintain throughout the shift
- Organize all of the various prep items needed from different areas to ensure that all items are in place and ready for assigned service
- Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides, according to department standards
- Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and club requirements
- Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted beverage cost
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up workstation with required mise en place, tools, equipment and supplies, inspecting cleanliness and working condition of all tools and equipment, checking production schedule and pars, establishing priority items for the day, informing bar lead of any supplies needed
