The role of Bartender at Thrive Restaurant Group is a pivotal position within the restaurant, responsible for creating a lively and welcoming bar atmosphere that fosters friendly interactions with guests while serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This position is not only about preparing drinks but also about delivering top-notch customer service that enhances the dining experience. Bartenders at Thrive mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to craft a wide variety of beverages according to customer preferences and menu standards. They actively engage with guests to create a positive environment, serve food and drinks efficiently, and perform crucial side work tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the bar.

Specific duties include slicing fruit and vegetable garnishes, managing payment transactions accurately, and coordinating food orders with the kitchen using the point-of-sale system. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior bartending or hospitality experience preferred

  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
  • serves food and drinks to all bar guests
  • completes assigned opening and closing side work
  • slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
  • presents guest checks to bar patrons and processes payments accurately
  • processes employee and/or manager food orders and relays food orders to the kitchen via the point-of-sale system
