The Bartender position at Cocopah Casino involves mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance with local regulations such as Arizona Liquor Laws. Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk a minimum of 8 hours daily
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds regularly
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Must be able to work in an environment containing excessive noise and smoke
- Must know about the Arizona Liquor Laws
- Must have an open availability to cover shifts or work during regular days off if needed
- Ability to do basic math
- Provide correct change when needed
Job Qualifications
- All applicants must be at least 19 years of age
- Must have a current Health Card or be able to obtain a Health Card
Job Duties
- Take food and drink orders from customers
- Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Serve wine and draught or bottled beer
- Collect money for drinks served
- Submit orders or requisitions for liquor and supplies to the supervisor
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make an attractive display
- Slice and pit fruits for garnishing drinks
- Maintain a lounge type environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons of the establishment
- Maintain accurate stock
- Other duties may be assigned
