The role of Bartender at Interlachen Country Club is integral to the Food and Beverage Team within the Main Clubhouse. Bartenders play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional dining and social experience during both lunch and dinner services, as well as at special events. This position involves preparing and mixing a wide variety of drinks, ranging from classic cocktails to innovative beverages that meet the tastes and preferences of club members and guests. Bartenders must deliver orders efficiently and with precision while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service. In addition to drink preparation, bartenders may also perform tableside wine service following the club's established standards, enhancing the overall member experience. Beyond mixology skills, this role requires attention to detail in maintaining a clean and orderly bar area, managing and rotating inventory to ensure proper stock levels, and promptly reporting any shortages or issues to supervisory staff. Candidates for this position must be flexible with their schedule, as the job demands availability during days, nights, weekends, and holidays to support the club's dynamic operations. Job Duties
- Prepares drinks for server to serve and/or serves directly to members and their guests
- Performs tableside wine serve according to ICC standards
- Receives cocktail and/or food orders at the bar and at the member’s table, when needed
- Ensures the appropriate member’s account is charged for each order
- Maintains a clean and orderly bar
- Ensures the bar is adequately stocked, rotates inventory, and reports any shortages to the supervisor
