Job Description

Red Lobster is a well-established seafood restaurant chain with a rich history spanning over fifty years. Originally founded as a family-owned restaurant, Red Lobster’s vision was to connect people with the flavors of seafood and the coastal experience. Today, the brand operates more than 500 restaurants across various communities, each serving as an extension of the founding passion for quality seafood and exceptional dining experiences. Within these communities, Red Lobster not only operates as a dining destination but also fosters a welcoming environment where new friends become familiar faces, emphasizing a strong sense of belonging and community engagement.

The position being offered is for a Bartender role at Red Lobster. This role is crucial in providing a superior guest experience through the preparation and service of drinks in a friendly and efficient manner. The bartender welcomes customers warmly as they are seated, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit. Responsibilities include setting up the bar stations before opening, ensuring stock replenishment of beverages, mixes, and garnishes, and preparing drinks according to established recipes and presentation standards. The bartender also promotes the sale of beverages, appetizers, and desserts, contributing to the restaurant's overall revenue. Taking and accurately entering food and beverage orders into the POS system is a key part of the job, as is ensuring customer satisfaction by offering timely drink refills and clearing unused items from tables.

Safety and compliance are integral to the role, with the bartender expected to follow all food safety regulations meticulously. The position demands physical stamina to stand for long shifts of 8 to 12 hours and the ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds safely. The ideal candidate is also team-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Red Lobster offers a competitive pay range of $15.16 to $25.00 per hour with weekly pay and flexible schedules. The company also provides attractive benefits including affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at under $10 per week, life and short-term disability insurance, voluntary benefits, a 401(k) savings plan with company contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay, discounted meals during shifts, and dining discounts for guests. Red Lobster is committed to career development, providing training and growth opportunities to help employees advance and succeed within the company.

Red Lobster prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, valuing diversity and inclusion in the workplace without discrimination based on age, race, color, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. They also support accommodations for employees with disabilities to perform essential job functions. This commitment creates a welcoming and supportive work environment where every team member can thrive. Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a family dedicated to delivering quality seafood, outstanding service, and memorable dining experiences while growing professionally within a vibrant and evolving company.
