Job Description

The Westin Bellevue, located in Bellevue, Washington, is a renowned hotel committed to providing an exceptional hospitality experience that emphasizes wellness and guest satisfaction. As part of Marriott International, a globally respected leader in the hotel and hospitality industry, Westin Bellevue stands out by promoting a culture where diversity, inclusion, and associate well-being are prioritized. The hotel boasts an inviting atmosphere where guests can rejuvenate, relax, and enjoy a meticulously crafted stay designed to promote physical and mental wellness. This property attracts a diverse clientele, including business travelers and leisure guests, who expect premium service, comfort, and unique personalized experiences during their visit.

The position available is a Part-Time Bartender role that goes beyond the traditional expectations of mixing drinks. At Westin Bellevue, bartenders are seen as vital contributors to the overall guest experience, acting as both beverage specialists and hosts who foster an inviting social environment. Bartenders are encouraged to stay current with industry trends, including local beverage offerings and evolving guest preferences, ensuring that each interaction is unique and memorable. This non-management position offers an hourly wage of $17.13 plus tips, providing both financial rewards and opportunities to grow within a supportive and engaging environment.

The role involves more than serving beverages; it requires bartenders to take ownership of guest service, thoroughly maintain the bar area’s cleanliness and functionality, and collaborate closely with hotel colleagues to anticipate and meet guest needs. Candidates must have a passion for delivering high-quality service and maintaining an eye for detail ranging from transaction accuracy to drink presentation. Physical stamina is essential as the job requires standing, walking, lifting, and other physical activities throughout shifts. The position is well suited for those who thrive in dynamic environments, exhibit a strong teamwork ethic, and have an interest in contributing to a brand that values wellness and high standards of guest care.

Marriott International promotes a workplace culture that values equal opportunity and diversity, encouraging individuals from all backgrounds to apply. Employees benefit from comprehensive incentives, including 401(k) plans, stock purchase options, commuter benefits, and childcare discounts. Additionally, full-time staff have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid parental leave, and more. Westin Bellevue also provides employees with paid sick leave and holidays in alignment with Washington state regulations.

Overall, joining the Westin Bellevue team as a bartender represents an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be part of a world-class hospitality brand. The role emphasizes personal growth, engagement with well-being practices, and creating meaningful guest experiences. If you are passionate, optimistic, adventurous, and committed to delivering outstanding service, this position offers a platform to develop your skills and become part of a vibrant, supportive global team, helping you be, begin, belong, and become the best version of yourself.
