Red Lobster is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bartenders to join their team. This role involves welcoming guests, preparing and serving drinks according to established standards, and ensuring that customers have an outstanding experience at the bar. Bartenders play a critical role in maintaining the atmosphere of hospitality and friendliness that Red Lobster is known for. As a Bartender at Red Lobster, you will be responsible for greeting guests with a smile, preparing the bar including stocking drinks and glassware, suggesting drink and food pairings, and accurately taking and entering orders using the POS system. Maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar, monitoring guest satisfaction by offering refills and timely clearing of unused items, and processing payments efficiently are key aspects of the role. The physical demands of this position include the ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts), safely lift up to 30 pounds, bend, reach, and crouch as needed. Working effectively as a team member with strong attention to detail and multitasking skills is essential for success. Job Requirements

  • Meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and greet them with a smile when seated
  • prepare the bar including pour stations and glassware before opening and limited restocking of drinks, mixes, and garnishes as needed
  • suggest sales of drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • prepare all drinks according to standard using recipe, glassware, and garnish
  • accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system
  • ensure guests are well attended by offering drink refills and clearing unused items
  • deliver and settle the bill in a timely manner, thank guests and invite them to return
  • follow all food safety regulations
