Job Description
Red Lobster is a well-established family-owned seafood restaurant chain with a rich history spanning over fifty years. The company began with a vision to connect people to fresh seafood and the coastal experience, deeply embedding itself into the communities it serves. Today, Red Lobster operates more than 500 restaurants, maintaining a strong reputation for offering quality meals coupled with memorable dining experiences. Over the decades, Red Lobster has evolved beyond being just a dining destination; it is a place where guests gather to create lasting memories, and employees find a welcoming work environment that fosters growth and community belonging. The company emphasizes a friendly, inclusive atmosphere where new friendships are formed and familiar faces return time and again.
Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a passionate team dedicated not only to excellent food but also to exceptional customer service and team collaboration. As part of the Red Lobster family, employees enjoy competitive wages, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling options that accommodate diverse lifestyles and commitments. Benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance are available starting at less than $10 per week. Additional coverage options include life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits, along with a 401(k) retirement savings plan featuring employer matching after one year of service. The organization also values long-term employee commitment, offering anniversary pay for eligible team members. Red Lobster further enhances the work experience by providing discounted shift meals and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Career advancement is strongly supported, with training and professional development opportunities designed to help employees grow within the company.
As a part-time Bartender at Red Lobster, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding guest experiences by warmly welcoming patrons and ensuring their beverage needs are met with precision and hospitality. Your responsibilities include setting up and maintaining the bar, preparing standard drinks using approved recipes and garnishes, and providing attentive, friendly service throughout each guest's visit. The position requires familiarity with point-of-sale systems to accurately take and enter food and drink orders, and the role entails actively checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction and timely delivery of refills. Maintaining food safety standards is essential, along with efficiently handling payment transactions and expressing gratitude to guests, encouraging their return. This role demands attention to detail, multi-tasking capability, and being a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is necessary for standing through long shifts and handling occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds. Red Lobster is committed to accommodating employees with disabilities to perform job functions successfully. Becoming a bartender at Red Lobster offers a unique chance to be part of a recognized brand with big future plans and a welcoming atmosphere where you can contribute to memorable dining experiences while advancing your career.
