Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned seafood restaurant chain with over 500 locations across the United States, each reflecting a tradition rooted in more than fifty years of delivering memorable dining experiences centered around fresh seafood and ocean-inspired cuisine. What started as a family-owned restaurant with a vision to create a special connection to seafood and the coast has flourished into a nationwide community beacon where guests come not only to enjoy their favorite meals but also to experience a welcoming atmosphere where new friends become familiar faces. Red Lobster prides itself on being more than just a place to eat; it is a vibrant community hub where employees and customers alike share in the joy of great food, heartfelt hospitality, and a sense of belonging. The company offers competitive weekly pay and flexible schedules to support work-life balance. Additionally, employees can benefit from medical, dental, and vision insurance options starting at less than $10 per week, along with life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits. A 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions is available after one year of service, complemented by anniversary pay for eligible employees. Team members enjoy discounted meals during shifts and a 25% discount when dining as guests. The company strongly invests in its workforce by providing training and clear career advancement opportunities to help employees grow personally and professionally.

This role as a Bartender at Red Lobster involves delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving beverages following company standards to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty. Bartenders will greet and welcome guests warmly, set up the bar and pouring stations before service, maintain cleanliness and stock of supplies, suggest drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance sales, and accurately enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale system. They are responsible for ensuring that guests are well attended throughout their visit by offering refills and timely removal of unused items. Timely delivery and settlement of guest bills, coupled with a genuine thank-you and invitation to return, are vital duties. Bartenders must also adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to provide a safe and pleasant dining environment. The role requires physical stamina to stand for 8 to 12 hours per shift, the ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment that demands attention to detail and multitasking capabilities. Working at Red Lobster is not just a job but a chance to become part of a family with great future plans and a commitment to equal opportunity employment that fosters an inclusive and supportive workplace for employees of all backgrounds and experiences. Whether you are looking for a career in hospitality or a place to grow your skills in a dynamic setting, Red Lobster offers an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join a well-established brand with a welcoming, growth-oriented culture.
