Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • professional appearance and attitude
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, climb stairs and carry objects up to 30 lbs
  • ability to maintain steady pace of service during shifts up to 10 hours
  • 100% accuracy in order entry and cash handling

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous bartending or customer service experience advantageous
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of beverage preparation and drink recipes

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper set-up of lounge and bar from beginning to end of shift
  • maintain knowledge of all food and beverage items served
  • inform customers about item preparation, contents, portion size, and prices
  • make menu recommendations
  • navigate POS system efficiently and execute order entry
  • promptly enter orders and update guest tabs
  • confirm daily menu and bar item changes
  • maintain cash drawer responsibility
  • exceed guest expectations and anticipate their needs
  • receive and process guest orders effectively
  • attend to customer complaints and escalate when necessary
  • compute checks and process payments accurately
  • perform regular quality checks for guests at the bar
  • ensure proper table maintenance before, during, and after service
  • ensure all food and liquor meet company specifications
  • observe and comply with state liquor laws including ID verification
  • prevent overserving of alcohol and manage intoxicated guests responsibly
  • maintain professional demeanor and honest attitude
  • attend meetings and training
  • comply with health and safety regulations
