The position of Bartender at Red Lobster is a vital role within the restaurant team, focusing on delivering excellent customer service and creating an inviting environment at the bar. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for welcoming customers with a friendly smile, preparing the bar area including glassware and pour stations, suggesting and selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts, and ensuring all beverages meet standard recipe, glassware, and garnish requirements. Accuracy in taking food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system is essential. The Bartender will closely monitor guest satisfaction, offer refills, and clear unused items promptly. Timely billing and cordial farewells inviting guests to return are part of the role's responsibilities. Bartenders at Red Lobster must adhere strictly to all food safety standards and contribute actively to creating a team atmosphere through attention to detail and multitasking abilities. This position demands physical stamina including the ability to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts, safely lift up to 30 pounds, and move frequently by bending, reaching, and crouching.
