The position of Bartender at Red Lobster is a vital role within the restaurant team, focusing on delivering excellent customer service and creating an inviting environment at the bar. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for welcoming customers with a friendly smile, preparing the bar area including glassware and pour stations, suggesting and selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts, and ensuring all beverages meet standard recipe, glassware, and garnish requirements. Accuracy in taking food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system is essential. The Bartender will closely monitor guest satisfaction, offer refills, and clear unused items promptly. Timely billing and cordial farewells inviting guests to return are part of the role's responsibilities. Bartenders at Red Lobster must adhere strictly to all food safety standards and contribute actively to creating a team atmosphere through attention to detail and multitasking abilities. This position demands physical stamina including the ability to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts, safely lift up to 30 pounds, and move frequently by bending, reaching, and crouching. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers and greet them with a smile as they are seated
  • Prepare the bar including pour stations and glassware before opening and restock drinks, mixes, and garnishes as needed
  • Suggest sales of drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • Prepare all drinks according to standard recipes, glassware, and garnishes
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
  • Ensure customers are well attended to, offer drink refills and remove any unused items
  • Deliver and settle the bill in a timely manner, thank customers and invite them to return
  • Follow all food safety regulations
