Job Description
HeadPinz and FastTrax Entertainment Centers are leading family-friendly entertainment venues that combine bowling, arcade attractions, food, beverage, and high-energy experiences tailored for guests of all ages. Known for their vibrant atmosphere and focus on fun, these centers provide an exceptional recreational environment where families, friends, and groups can come together to enjoy quality entertainment and excellent service. Both HeadPinz and FastTrax operate multiple locations and are dedicated to creating safe and memorable experiences through operational excellence and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Their team-oriented culture emphasizes safety, integrity, and consistent delivery of service that meets or exceeds company standards. The establishments pride themselves on not only providing entertainment but also fostering an inviting and responsible environment for all visitors.
The Bartender role at HeadPinz and FastTrax Entertainment Centers is an hourly, non-exempt position within the Food & Beverage department. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, Guest Services Supervisor, or General Manager, bartenders hold a vital position that blends beverage service excellence with the responsibility of ensuring guest safety and regulatory compliance. This role requires the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced entertainment environment while maintaining a professional demeanor and a keen attention to detail. Bartenders at these locations are tasked with preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and guest satisfaction.
Beyond beverage preparation, this role demands strict adherence to all federal, state, and local alcohol service laws, as well as internal company policies designed to prevent over-service and maintain a safe atmosphere. Bartenders must verify identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance and monitor guest behavior actively to prevent unsafe situations. The position includes responsibilities such as asset protection through the secure handling of cash, credit cards, and bar inventory, as well as sustaining clean and organized bar areas. Operating POS systems accurately is essential for managing sales and cash handling in accordance with company procedures.
Safety is a core priority in this role. Bartenders are expected to take prompt action to identify and address any hazardous conditions such as spills, broken glass, or overcrowding, and to participate in emergency response efforts as required. They also play a key part in supporting overall facility safety, sometimes assisting other departments to maintain smooth guest flow and a clean environment throughout the center.
Working at HeadPinz and FastTrax requires excellent teamwork, accountability, and a positive attitude, as well as continual participation in training programs focused on safety, operations, and alcohol compliance. The role is well-suited for individuals who can remain alert and responsible in a lively setting and who enjoy delivering superior service with a focus on customer experience and compliance. With a foundation built on values of safety, service excellence, and operational integrity, bartenders contribute significantly to the success and reputation of the entertainment centers.
