Job Description

Ascent Hospitality is a distinguished hospitality company with an extensive portfolio of hotels and an impressive pipeline of new properties and acquisitions. Founded on a strong commitment to its people rather than just numbers, the company prioritizes creating memorable experiences for both its Team Members and guests. This culture of collaboration, support, and excellence defines Ascent Hospitality and stands as the foundation of its success in the competitive hospitality industry. The establishment is recognized for fostering a workplace environment that encourages teamwork and a unified purpose, valuing accomplished individuals who bring a passion for service, strong communication skills, and adaptability to challenges and changes.

Currently, Ascent Hospitality is seeking a uniquely qualified hospitality leader to join their team as a Bartender. This role involves not just mixing drinks but creating an energetic and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the guest experience. The ideal candidate is a bright mixologist, continuously exploring new beverage trends and dedicated to offering guests a diverse, seasonally-inspired menu. Behind the bar, the bartender will be responsible for engaging in warm conversations, providing helpful suggestions, and delivering exceptional service that makes guests feel relaxed and valued.

This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the art of bartending within a professional hotel environment. The bartender will be tasked with maintaining an inviting bar setup, responsibly managing inventory, preparing garnishes and ingredients, and adhering strictly to legal and corporate regulations related to beverage service. They will also handle cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure overall compliance and security of the bar area.

In addition to competitive salary and benefits such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance, Ascent Hospitality offers a 401k plan with employer match, paid time off, uniforms for most positions, and a team member hotel discount program. This support reflects the company’s commitment to its employees’ well-being and professional growth.

The bartender role demands excellent customer service skills, basic mathematical abilities for handling transactions, and strong communication skills in English. Physical stamina is required as the position involves standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and performing various manual tasks. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, is also essential.

By joining Ascent Hospitality, the bartender will become part of a dedicated team that values passion, creativity, and service excellence. This role is perfect for those who are driven, energetic, and eager to contribute to a dynamic hospitality environment while advancing their career in the hotel industry.
