The Bartender role is crucial in supporting our mission of outstanding guest service. This position involves preparing and serving beverages and food items in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. Bartenders are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, preparing garnishes, checking customer identification to verify age, and following safety and health regulations. You will interact directly with guests, serving drinks and food, processing payments, and managing the overall bar experience.

As a Bartender, you will also contribute to inventory management by completing beverage requisitions and assisting with bar stock control. The role demands a keen awareness of guest satisfaction and safety, requiring compliance with intoxicated guest management policies and the consistent practice of sustainable operations according to our EarthView environmental program. Additionally, you will be expected to complete required side work and collaborate closely with management to support smooth daily operations.

Working as a Bartender in our establishment involves a dynamic schedule, which may include holidays, weekends, and varied shifts. The role requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending. We prioritize safety and compliance with OSHA standards, making safety equipment use and adherence to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) a mandatory part of daily work life.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • previous bartending or mixologist experience required or equivalent training
  • TIPS certification a plus
  • food sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • availability to work holidays, weekends, and varied shifts

Job Duties
