The role being offered is for a Bartender position at Red Lobster. This opportunity provides hourly pay with weekly payments and competitive salaries, appealing scheduling flexibility, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at under $10 per week. Additional benefits consist of life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions after one year of service. Employees are also rewarded with anniversary pay when eligible, discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. As a Bartender, your responsibilities will include greeting customers warmly as they arrive, efficiently preparing the bar area before service including setting up pouring stations and glassware, and restocking supplies as needed. You will be expected to suggest drink, appetizer, and dessert sales to guests and craft beverages according to company standards using prescribed recipes, appropriate glassware, and garnishes. Accuracy in taking food and drink orders and entering them into the POS system is essential, as is ensuring that guests receive attentive service including timely refills and clearing of unused items. Additionally, bartenders handle payment settlement professionally, thank customers, and invite them to return. Maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards is crucial in this role.
