The company fosters a culture of inclusion and diversity, endorsing equal opportunity across all facets of employment. With a reputation for nurturing talent and advancing careers, HHM Hotels offers comprehensive opportunities for growth within the hospitality sector.
The opportunity presented is for a Bartender role—a key position within the food and beverage team. The Bartender at HHM Hotels is responsible for serving beverages and food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner ensuring an exceptional level of guest satisfaction. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized bar area, preparing drinks garnished with fresh fruit, verifying customer age for alcohol purchase, and efficiently managing orders whether at the bar or in lounge areas. The bartender also plays a role in ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and intoxication management standards to uphold the establishment's reputation for responsible service.
This position offers a clear growth path within the organization, with potential advancement to Beverage Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, and eventually Food & Beverage Manager. The role demands a proactive attitude toward guest satisfaction and sustainability, including participation in HHM's EarthView program and adherence to MSDS and OSHA safety guidelines. Candidates will be expected to perform side work and assist with beverage inventory, contributing to the smooth operation of the bar department.
The work environment is dynamic, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, and lift up to 25 pounds, as well as handle bending and reaching tasks. Work schedules vary and may include holidays, weekends, and different shifts, making flexibility an essential attribute. The ideal candidate will bring previous bartending or mixology experience or equivalent training, with a preference for those holding a high school diploma and certifications such as TIPS and Food Sanitation.
HHM Hotels rewards its employees with competitive wages for both full-time and part-time roles, extensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k company match plan. Additional perks comprise daily pay access, basic life insurance, confidential 24/7 wellness resources through TELUS Health, travel discounts, commuter benefits, employee assistance and wellness programs, educational and professional development opportunities, and a referral bonus program. HHM Hotels is committed to supporting its team and fostering a workplace where employees can thrive while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
