This particular job opportunity is for the position of Bartender within one of HHM Hotels' luxury properties. The role is designed for service-minded individuals who are enthusiastic about crafting and serving beverages and light food items while maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction. As a Bartender at HHM Hotels, you will be an integral part of the food and beverage team and have a direct impact on guests' overall experience through your friendly, courteous, and efficient service. The Bartender's responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, preparing and serving drinks and food orders accurately and promptly, and ensuring compliance with all age and alcohol service regulations. The candidate will also engage with guests by verifying identification to uphold legal requirements, managing payment processes, and monitoring guest satisfaction. - Previous bartending or mixologist experience required or equivalent training
- TIPS certification a plus
- Food sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment

Job Duties
- Maintain clean and organize bar areas
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders
- Take orders, serve and clear food and beverage to guests seated at tables in bar and lounge areas if applicable
- Issue guest check and complete payment process
- Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests
- Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels as needed
- Complete required side work prior to shift end
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Assist with taking beverage inventory
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
