Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a fast-casual or full-service restaurant or bar
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, basic wine and beer service, and cocktail presentation
- Valid alcohol service certification (TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or local equivalent) and ability to verify legal drinking age
- Reliable availability for nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Clear communication skills and a guest-first attitude

- Familiarity with Mexico City-style flavors and food/beverage pairings
- Prior experience in a neighborhood, family-run restaurant environment
- Basic Spanish language skills to enhance guest interactions
- Food safety certification and supervisory or training experience
Job Duties
- Create consistent, well-balanced cocktails and specialty drinks according to recipe standards while adapting to guest preferences
- Operate the bar efficiently during all shifts, including set-up, breakdown, and maintaining bar mise en place
- Provide exceptional guest service: greet, take orders, recommend pairings with menu items, and manage difficult situations with professionalism
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately, process payments, and follow cash-out procedures
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, perform regular stock counts, and report ordering needs to management
- Ensure full compliance with alcohol service laws and company policies, including checking IDs and promoting responsible consumption
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar area, coordinating with kitchen and floor staff to support smooth service
