Job Description
Lake of the Pines Homeowners Association (LOP) manages a private, gated community nestled in the picturesque foothills of Northern California, situated between the towns of Auburn and Grass Valley. This exclusive community consists of around 2,000 homes and offers a serene lifestyle surrounded by natural beauty. Among the various amenities available to residents, the community boasts a stunning 230-acre private lake, perfect for recreation and relaxation, as well as a meticulously maintained 19-hole golf course. These facilities, along with additional family-friendly venues such as swimming pools, beaches, parks, and tennis courts, contribute to an exceptional living experience for LOP members.
Established to provide more than just a place to live, the Lake of the Pines Homeowners Association promotes a tight-knit community environment with well-maintained common areas and recreational facilities. Serving the residents are two popular dining establishments on the premises, The Clubhouse and The Sports Lounge, which are known for their welcoming atmospheres and high-quality food and beverages. The association continually seeks to enhance resident satisfaction through excellent service and well-organized special events throughout the year.
The role of Bartender at Lake of the Pines is a vital position within these two restaurants, crucial to maintaining the high standards the association prides itself on. This part-time, hourly role offers an hourly wage between $18.06 and $20.54, complemented by tips and inclusive of several benefits like sick leave, discounted golf, meals at the restaurants, and facility use privileges. The position demands flexibility in working hours, encompassing days, nights, weekends, and holidays to cover regular service hours and special community events. This environment is ideal for candidates passionate about hospitality and customer service.
Bartenders at LOP are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service in a friendly, professional manner while efficiently handling drink orders and bar operations. They must be knowledgeable about various liquor brands, drink mixing techniques, wine selections, and possess the ability to upsell menu items to guests. This dynamic role also involves handling cash transactions accurately, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and ensuring compliance with responsible alcohol service policies. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment while upholding the integrity and reputation of Lake of the Pines. A thorough pre-employment background check is required following a conditional offer, emphasizing the importance of honesty and trustworthiness in this position.
