The Bartender position at VMS plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service during clubhouse events within the community. This role involves participating in the preparation and sale of beverages in accordance with established procedures, ensuring that all drinks are mixed to specification and served promptly to guests. The Bartender will operate within an environment that encourages positive interactions, constructive communication, and respect for the diverse community. The role requires punctuality and preparation, arriving early to set up the bar with all necessary supplies to ensure smooth service. Attention to detail is critical when balancing cash registers and submitting paperwork post-event. This position also requires frequent movement and some physical demands such as lifting and standing for extended periods. Employees are expected to adhere to state liquor control laws and Village rules, maintaining professionalism and courtesy when addressing public relations challenges. Possession of a valid California Driver's License is necessary as the role involves driving to meetings and workshops. This position is ideal for individuals with bartending experience or equivalent knowledge, particularly those who can relate effectively to the needs of senior citizens and work collaboratively with staff and residents.
