Job Description

Our hiring establishment is a prominent hotel with a well-established Food and Beverage (F&B) department dedicated to providing excellent guest services and a memorable hospitality experience. As part of a dynamic team within this reputable hotel, the Bartender role is crucial in enhancing the overall guest experience by delivering expert beverage service and maintaining a welcoming environment. This position is vital to the operation of the bar, which serves as a social hub for guests seeking quality drinks, exceptional service, and a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel prides itself on upholding high standards in both service and presentation, ensuring each guest interaction is positive and enjoyable.

The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and efficiency. This involves crafting cocktails, pouring beers, serving wine, and catering to guest preferences with professionalism and friendliness. Equally important is the bartender's role in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar environment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service. A deep knowledge of various spirits, beers, and wines is essential to make informed recommendations and upsell premium products where appropriate. Additionally, the bartender must observe all local alcohol service laws and hotel policies, ensuring responsible consumption and safety for all guests.

The role requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to engage guests warmly and handle any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively. The bartender will collaborate with servers, barbacks, and other food and beverage team members to ensure seamless service flow. Responsibilities also include handling cash, credit transactions, utilizing the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, and assisting with inventory management and opening and closing duties. Due to the physical demands of the position, the candidate should be capable of prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and handling bar equipment like kegs and CO2 tanks.

This employment opportunity offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment where professional growth and guest satisfaction are key priorities. The position may require a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays, to meet the needs of the hotel's service hours. Candidates with previous bartending experience, certifications as required by local ordinances, and a passion for delivering outstanding service will find this role both challenging and rewarding. The Bartender will be integral in maintaining the hotel's reputation for quality and hospitality, making it an exciting career opportunity in the hospitality industry.
