Job Description
Red Lobster is a well-established and beloved restaurant chain specializing in seafood dining experiences across the United States. Founded more than fifty years ago as a family-owned restaurant, Red Lobster has evolved into a network of over 500 locations with a strong commitment to quality food and exceptional customer service. The restaurant is known for its passion for connecting people with the coastal and seafood culinary traditions, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy their favorite meals and create memorable moments with family and friends. Red Lobster prides itself on being more than just a place to eat; it is a welcoming part of the communities it serves, where new friends become familiar faces.
As a Bartender at Red Lobster, you will play an essential role in delivering an outstanding hospitality experience to our guests. This full-time position offers weekly pay and competitive wages, alongside flexible scheduling designed to accommodate your lifestyle. The company provides access to multiple insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision plans starting at under $10 per week, as well as life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits to support your health and wellbeing. After one year of service, employees become eligible for a company-matched 401(k) retirement plan, helping you save for your future. Additional perks include anniversary pay (with eligibility requirements), discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest.
In this role, you will greet customers with a friendly smile and provide attentive service from the moment they sit down. You will prepare the bar area before opening, ensuring all pouring stations, glassware, and supplies are ready for smooth operations. Attention to detail is key, as you will be responsible for accurately taking and inputting drink and food orders into the POS system while suggesting beverages, appetizers, and desserts that enhance the dining experience. Your mixology skills will be showcased as you prepare all drinks according to established recipes, presenting them with the appropriate glassware and garnishes.
Customer satisfaction is a top priority, so you will ensure guests receive refills as needed and maintain a clean and inviting bar area by promptly removing any unused items. At the end of each visit, you will deliver the check promptly, thank guests warmly, and invite them to return. Adherence to all food safety standards is mandatory to maintain hygiene and safety throughout your shift. This role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours, safely lift up to 30 pounds, and move with agility to meet customer needs efficiently. The company embraces team-oriented, detail-conscious individuals who can multitask effectively.
Red Lobster values diversity and inclusion and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applicants regardless of age, race, color, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. The company also makes reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive in this essential role.
With exciting future plans and a supportive team culture, joining Red Lobster today means becoming part of a dynamic family dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences and growing your career within the restaurant industry.
