Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned seafood restaurant chain with a rich history deeply rooted in family values and a passion for exceptional dining experiences. Starting as a family-owned restaurant more than fifty years ago, Red Lobster has grown to include over 500 locations, making it a beloved destination for seafood lovers across the nation. The company prides itself on not only serving exquisite seafood dishes but also fostering a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel like part of the family. Every seat in their restaurants represents a continuation of their founding passion to provide memorable meals and moments, emphasizing community and customer connection beyond just food service.

As a leader in the casual dining industry, Red Lobster offers competitive pay with weekly earnings and flexible working schedules, making it an attractive workplace for individuals seeking both stability and work-life balance. Employees benefit from comprehensive insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision coverage starting at under $10 per week, life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits designed to support their well-being. Additionally, the company offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay, discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. These benefits reflect Red Lobster's commitment to its team members' overall welfare and career development, supported by training programs and opportunities for advancement.

The role of Bartender at Red Lobster is pivotal in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Bartenders are the welcoming face that greets guests with a warm smile, ensuring every visitor feels valued and cared for from the moment they are seated. Responsibilities include preparing the bar area by setting up pour stations and glassware, replenishing beverages, mixers, and garnishes as needed, and recommending drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance the guest experience. Bartenders must skillfully prepare drinks according to established recipes, using the correct glassware and garnishes, manage accurate food and beverage orders through the POS system, and maintain attentiveness to customer needs throughout their visit. Timely delivery and settlement of bills are important, as is ensuring compliance with food safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods (8 to 12 hours), bend, reach, squat, and safely lift up to 30 pounds. Candidates must meet the minimum age and legal work authorization requirements for the United States, work well in a team environment with strong attention to detail, and juggle multiple tasks efficiently. Red Lobster values diversity and inclusivity and is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace welcoming candidates from all backgrounds without discrimination.

Working as a Bartender at Red Lobster not only provides competitive hourly wages ranging from $16.90 to $25.00 but also offers a chance to be part of a company with exciting future plans.
