Seventh Heaven Bar & Karaoke is a vibrant, independently-owned karaoke bar and event space located in the heart of Bushwick. Known for its dynamic atmosphere and versatile venue, it accommodates up to 120 guests across indoor and outdoor settings. We are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced bartenders to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented nightlife environment and who have a passion for delivering impeccable customer service. As a bartender at Seventh Heaven Bar & Karaoke, you will be instrumental in shaping the guest experience through your skillful preparation of drinks, engaging service approach, and keen attention to detail. This position offers $11.35 per hour plus tips, which can range from $600 to over $1000 weekly, reflecting our generous tipping culture. Bartenders at Seventh Heaven Bar & Karaoke are responsible not only for crafting high-quality cocktails but also for maintaining safety and cleanliness standards in the bar area, complying fully with food safety and handling regulations. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in cocktail-focused bartending and possess strong knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, and responsible alcohol service. You will interact directly with guests, using POS systems such as Toast to manage orders efficiently while also collaborating with security to maintain a safe environment. Our ideal candidate embraces late-night and weekend hours and enjoys participating in themed events that enhance the overall guest experience. Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision at a fast pace, ensuring consistency and quality
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing adaptable customer service that contributes to guests leaving feeling better than when they entered
- Manage POS systems such as Toast to process orders accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and food handling regulations
- Monitor guest behavior, working alongside security to promote a safe environment
- Open to participating in themed events
- Available to work late nights and weekends
