Camp Williams Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) is a dedicated team committed to providing quality recreational and leisure services to soldiers and their families who serve our country. Situated in a vibrant military environment, Camp Williams MWR offers a variety of programs and facilities designed to enhance the morale and welfare of service members, including entertainment venues like the Service Club. The Service Club is the premier entertainment destination at Camp Williams, known for its welcoming atmosphere and diverse offerings that foster community engagement and relaxation for military personnel and guests.
We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Bartender to join our Service Club team on a part-time, temporary basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with bartending experience to earn competitive hourly wages ranging from $15 to $17 per hour plus great tips, while actively supporting the morale of soldiers and their families. Although this is a part-time role, employees have the potential to expand their scheduled hours up to 16 hours per week while maintaining their part-time status. This role is ideal for those looking to work in a dynamic, social environment where customer service excellence is highly valued.
As a Bartender, you will be responsible not only for preparing and serving beverages and snacks but also for maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area according to strict guidelines. Camp Williams MWR emphasizes training and certification, offering paid programs such as SIPS & TIPS and food handlers permits to ensure all staff maintain high standards of safety and service. Preference will be given to candidates who already possess bartending experience and hold a current food handlers permit; however, the organization provides necessary training and certification for eligible candidates.
This role requires a person who can develop an efficient work pace to keep customers satisfied, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to delivering a positive experience to patrons.
