Job Requirements

Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and standard drink recipes required
Minimum of 1 year experience in a bartender position preferred
Strong verbal communication and listening skills required
Must be a self-starter who is energetic and flexible
Certifications for Food Safety and Alcohol training certificate preferred
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, follow directions, and work well with a team
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Friendly and outgoing personality essential
Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Physical ability to stand and be active for 8 or more hours, climb stairs, lift up to 40lbs, and use cleaning equipment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Greet and engage with all guests in a friendly, positive manner
Sets-up, maintains and operates the bar
Maintains safe, secure and sanitary bar area and equipment
Adheres to standardized recipes and department rules and procedures
Prepares garnishes to ensure freshness and quality, set up mixers, and pre-mixed drinks
Follows opening, closing and cleaning checklists on a daily basis
Ensure all guests have proper ID, are over 21 years of age, and that drinks are not served to intoxicated patrons
