The role of Bartender at Red Lobster is essential for ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and enjoy their visit from start to finish. Bartenders are responsible for welcoming customers with a friendly greeting and preparing the bar to meet operational standards before service begins. This includes setting up stations, stocking beverages, garnishes, and glassware as needed. As a bartender, you will take and enter food and drink orders accurately into the POS system, prepare drinks following specific recipes using proper glassware and garnishes, and suggest additional items like appetizers or desserts to enhance the guest experience. Maintaining a clean bar area and adhering to all food safety regulations are also critical duties.

Success in this role requires physical stamina to remain standing for shifts that can last between 8 to 12 hours, the ability to bend, reach, and carry up to 30 pounds safely, and teamwork skills with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and greet them with a smile upon seating
  • prepare the bar including pouring stations and glassware before opening and restocking beverages, mixes, and garnishes as needed
  • suggest sale of drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • prepare all drinks according to standard using recipe, glassware, and garnish
  • accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
  • ensure the customer is well attended, offer drink refills, and clear unused items
  • promptly deliver and settle the check, thank customers and invite them to return
  • follow all food safety regulations
