Job Requirements
- One year of prior bartending experience preferred
- prior guest relations training
- proper food safety training and certification as described by law
- experience working with POS systems such as Toast, Micros, Aloha
- experience using reservation software like Toast
- strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- knowledge of proper food handling
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- positive upbeat attitude and personality
- punctuality and reliable attendance
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests and team members
- ability to work with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and minimal supervision
- ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- must be willing to work flexible hours such as mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- plan and present bar menu
- check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- comply with all food and beverage, health and safety regulations
- demonstrate superior knowledge of classic cocktails, quickly build, shake, and create them for clientele
- exemplify outstanding communication skills to create unique experiences for clientele and promote wonderful customer service
- check in with clientele to ensure satisfaction
- embody a strong and efficient work ethic including keeping a clean and tidy work area and guest areas
- complete opening/closing duties, follow standards in place, and fill out prep/checklist
- adhere to cash handling policies, perform credit card charges, provide guests with accurate bills, and ring in all orders accurately and promptly
- knowledge of pour-cost control, participate in inventory and determine adequate par levels
- perform other duties as assigned
