Currently, Old Chicago is hiring Bartenders who play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest service in the bar area. This position is critical to the restaurant's success in providing guests with a perfectly crafted experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks with precision while ensuring guests receive attentive, friendly, and fun service. The role demands passion for mixology, a strong knowledge of beverage menus, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar. Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Alcohol certification and Serve Safe a plus
Flexible to work a variety of shifts
Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical demands of the job
Must be able to follow standard recipes and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience preferred
Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
Passion for craft beer and hospitality
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar

Job Duties

Deliver genuine hospitality while efficiently crafting every drink to perfection and serving guests responsibly
Be fanatical in mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests at the bar and provide drinks and service to team members following standard recipes and procedures
Guide guests through food and beverage menus with thorough knowledge of all offerings
Provide timely, attentive, fun and friendly service to guests and team members to ensure guests feel valued and well cared for
Take pride in keeping the bar area clean, sanitized and stocked
Create positive first impressions that build loyalty in return guests
Engage with guests and create a lively and fun atmosphere
