SSP America is currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled Bartenders to join their team full-time. This role is integral to the company’s commitment to guest satisfaction, requiring individuals who are not only experienced in bartending but also able to engage warmly with guests, providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender at SSP America, you will be responsible for greeting guests promptly with courtesy and friendliness, mixing and presenting drinks exactly to recipe specifications while practicing portion control, and operating the point of sale system accurately to process guest orders and payments. The role also includes handling cash transactions, ensuring all charges and vouchers are correctly recorded, and maintaining the bar’s cleanliness and organization to the highest standards. Adherence to state, federal, and company liquor regulations is paramount, particularly regarding the responsible service of alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests, thereby ensuring safety and compliance with legal and corporate policies.

Job Requirements

  • Open AM availability including weekends
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to bartending duties

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner
  • Use recipes and practice portion control to mix, garnish, and present drinks
  • Input orders into register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
  • Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar at all times
  • Must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests at all times
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
