The Bartender position at Buffalo Wild Wings is an essential role dedicated to providing outstanding guest service by expertly mixing and serving beverages both at the bar and throughout the restaurant. This position plays a crucial part in supporting team members, driving alcohol compliance, and contributing to revenue growth, all while helping to create an inviting and energetic environment that inspires legendary experiences between friends. The Bartender is responsible for maintaining the operation and cleanliness of the bar, adhering to standardized recipes, and ensuring the freshness and quality of garnishes. Job Requirements

  • Must possess alcohol dispensing certification
  • minimum of 1 year of experience in a bartender position within the restaurant business
  • must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 4 hours in length
  • must be at least 40 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
  • must comply with responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • ability to lift items up to 25 pounds
  • ability to operate a register system
  • must follow opening, closing and cleaning checklists
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • strong communication skills
  • must handle difficult guest behavior tactfully and professionally

Job Duties

  • ensures the correct drinks and food ordered are delivered to the table/guest
  • collects payment and makes correct change
  • follows opening, closing and cleaning checklists on a daily basis
  • maintains displays of liquor and glasses on a daily basis
  • checks guest identification to ensure they meet minimum 40 year age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • follows guidelines of responsible alcohol service
  • ensures PCI credit card compliance
  • unloads trucks, pallets, and cases of food and beverage and puts in assigned locations
  • other duties as assigned
