Job Requirements
- be at least 21 years of age
- able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- capable of working in hot and cold environments
- able to work in noisy, fast-paced settings
- able to read and write handwritten notes
- able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- able to stand and move about for long periods
- able to walk or stand 100% of shift
- able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe frequently
- adhere to dress code and maintain neat appearance
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in restaurant or bar environment preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- guests service orientation
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- ability to handle cash and operate point of sale systems
- ability to maintain professionalism and a friendly demeanor at all times
- must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games
- keep immediate supervisor informed of significant issues
- create a warm, fun atmosphere
- adhere to sanitation procedures
- maintain personal bank and handle financial transactions accurately
- follow alcohol awareness procedures
- assess guest demeanor and alert manager if necessary
- follow bar recipes for consistency and cost control
- keep station clean and set up/take down station tables
- greet newly seated guests timely and friendly
- accurately take food and drink orders
- maintain thorough menu knowledge and answer guest questions
- enter orders into Micros system accurately and promptly
- complete station side work at shift start and end
- operate Micros and handle credit transactions
- deliver properly garnished food trays to designated areas
- work efficiently with full hands in/full hands out philosophy
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- complete bar inventories and daily requisitions
- perform opening/closing duties
- assist in party setup and breakdown
- assist other team members as needed
- buss and reset tables
- ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back and maintaining drink levels
- foster a cooperative working environment
- listen and communicate effectively with guests and team
- maintain friendly demeanor and frequent smiling
- preferred restaurant or bar experience
- effectively communicate enthusiasm about the D&B experience
- read and communicate in English
- adhere to dress code
- work in noisy, fast-paced environment
