Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • eligible to work in the United States
  • able to stand for long periods
  • capable of communicating effectively in English
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • comply with responsible alcohol service policies
  • physical ability to work in a bar environment and lift moderate weights
  • commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and uniform

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
  • knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • responsible alcohol service training or certification preferred
  • ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • team player with cooperative and communicative attitude
  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Assist in the training and development of new team members
  • cooperate and communicate effectively with team members
  • handle cash and credit transactions properly
  • practice responsible alcohol selling and serving as mandated
  • accept and facilitate to-go orders via phone or online
  • oversee security of bar products and procedures
  • maintain professional image and uniform standards
  • frequently engage with guests and inquire about their dining experience
  • thank each guest for their patronage sincerely
  • maintain high level of food and beverage knowledge
  • prepare beverages according to recipe using appropriate products and glassware
  • ensure stock levels meet specified requirements
  • use standard recipes and methods to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • stay abreast of ongoing and upcoming promotions and help implement them
  • maintain cleanliness and safety according to health standards
  • ensure proper food safety practices including hygiene and preventing cross-contamination
  • adhere to labeling, dating, rotation, and shelf-life standards
  • follow cleaning schedules and maintain bar equipment
