Job Description

HHM Hotels, a prominent name in the hospitality industry, operates under the Echelon Luxury & Lifestyle division, which is renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding the highest standards in luxury accommodations and services. As a leader in the hotel sector, HHM Hotels prides itself on a culture centered around its core values: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. These guiding principles reflect a commitment to excellence, innovation, and inclusive work environment. The company is an equal opportunity employer, embracing diversity and inclusion in its hiring practices and employee development efforts.

HHM Hotels is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Bartender to join their vibrant team. This role is crucial in enhancing guests' dining and beverage experience by serving drinks and food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner to ensure maximum satisfaction. The job involves more than simply preparing and serving beverages; it requires a detailed understanding of customer needs, the ability to maintain an organized and clean bar area, and a commitment to upholding safety and legal standards. The position offers a clear growth path starting from Beverage Manager to Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, and ultimately Food & Beverage Manager, making it an excellent opportunity for those aiming to build a long-term career in hospitality management.

As a Bartender, your focus will be on maintaining bar cleanliness, preparing garnishes like sliced and pitted fruit, and verifying the age of customers to comply with alcohol purchase laws. You will be responsible for taking and serving orders, clearing tables in bar and lounge areas, issuing guest checks, and handling payments promptly and accurately. A key aspect of the role is managing guest intoxication following established standards to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons. You will also complete beverage requisitions to keep the bar stocked, perform side work before the end of shifts, assist with beverage inventory, and champion sustainability efforts through adherence to HHM’s EarthView program. Consistently striving to improve guest satisfaction is essential, as is practicing safe work habits in compliance with OSHA standards and wearing required protective equipment.

This role demands physical stamina, as it requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, pushing, bending, and reaching frequently. The work schedule may vary and include holidays, weekends, and different shifts, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. Candidates with previous bartending or mixology experience or equivalent training are preferred, along with a high school diploma. Certification such as TIPS and Food Sanitation (to be obtained within 90 days of starting employment) are highly advantageous, underscoring the company’s commitment to responsible service and food safety. Joining HHM Hotels means becoming part of a company that values integrity, guest satisfaction, and employee growth, all within a supportive and rewarding environment.
