Job Description

The Heritage at Brentwood is a premier senior living community renowned for its high-quality food offerings and genuine southern hospitality. This establishment combines casual comfort with upscale dining experiences tailored specifically for senior residents and their guests. The community prides itself on two main dining venues: the Fireside Grille, a contemporary restaurant serving wood-fired cuisine alongside American classics and comfort dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Southern Oak, an authentic steakhouse providing an elegant atmosphere and exquisite culinary delights primarily for dinner service from Monday through Friday. Additionally, bar services are available at Fireside Grille, the Steeplechase Lounge, and during special events, ensuring a wide range of hospitality experiences.

Working at The Heritage at Brentwood means engaging with an extraordinary company that values its employees and invests in the future of senior living through ongoing support and development. Employees here are granted a front-row seat to witness and be part of the inspiring life stories of the wisest individuals on earth — senior residents who enrich the community with their experience and presence. Beyond just performing a job, team members are invited to be part of an extraordinary life and environment where senior care and hospitality intersect beautifully.

The role being offered is a full-time Bartender position with a competitive hourly wage of $18-$19, with no tipping involved. The typical schedule includes working 40 hours per week over five days, with three days scheduled from 10 am to 8 pm and two days from 3 pm to 8:30 pm. This position is integral in maintaining a high standard of customer service, serving both residents and guests gracefully and courteously. Responsibilities include taking orders, pouring wine tableside in the dining venues, creatively mixing cocktails, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bar area. The bartender also assists in preparing the bar, clearing tableware, stocking supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate billing for resident and guest charges.

Full-time employees are offered comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, employer-paid basic life and long-term disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, an employee referral bonus program, daily pay options, paid time off, paid holidays, free parking, and a safe work environment. Candidates must hold a valid TABC card and have previous bartending experience to be considered for this rewarding opportunity within The Heritage at Brentwood community. This role represents not only a job but an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to senior hospitality in a remarkable setting dedicated to quality and care.
