At Cogir, employees are encouraged to contribute their talents and grow professionally while making a positive impact on the lives of older adults and their families.
We are currently seeking a skilled and personable Bartender/Mixologist to join our upscale senior living community's hospitality team. This role is designed for an individual who has a passion for crafting high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and creating a warm and engaging atmosphere that enhances the social experiences of residents and their guests. The Bartender/Mixologist will play an essential role in community life by building genuine relationships with residents and supporting the creation of memorable moments through hospitality.
This position is unique because hospitality here extends beyond just serving drinks; it’s about fostering connections, encouraging social interactions, and contributing to a vibrant lifestyle within the community. The successful candidate will prepare a diverse range of classic cocktails, signature drinks, and custom beverage requests while maintaining a clean, organized bar area compliant with health and safety regulations. Responsible beverage service and monitoring of alcohol consumption are critical responsibilities to ensure resident safety and enjoyment.
The Bartender/Mixologist will collaborate closely with dining and events teams to support community functions, special celebrations, and happy hours, contributing to a lively and inclusive atmosphere. Inventory management, restocking supplies, ordering assistance, and maintaining accurate documentation of resident and guest charges are part of the daily duties.
Cogir Senior Living offers a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401K plan with company match, paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, early paycheck access, an employee assistance program, and a generous employee referral program. This is a non-tipped position, reflecting Cogir’s commitment to fair and reliable compensation.
