Job Description

Outback Steakhouse, part of the Out West Restaurant Group, is a renowned Australian-themed dining establishment that launched in March 1988. As the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse, Out West Restaurant Group offers a vibrant and inviting atmosphere that combines serious food quality with an enjoyable, fun dining experience. Known for its commitment to treating employees and guests "Just Right," Outback Steakhouse fosters a culture of respect, camaraderie, and enthusiasm among its team members, whom they affectionately call "Outbackers." The company prides itself on positively impacting the lives of its employees, promoting career growth, and providing training to ensure everyone reaches their full potential.

The Outback family is currently looking for passionate individuals to join as Bartenders. This role involves crafting every drink with precision, ensuring each guest receives a high-quality and spirited drink experience. Bartenders at Outback Steakhouse are central to delivering an "AUSS-SOME" dining experience, making customers' days better by offering attentive, friendly service tailored to their preferences. Responsible service and team collaboration are core to this position, as bartenders support servers by providing extensive knowledge of the food and drink menus and recommending or upselling spirited drinks.

Working at Outback Steakhouse means becoming part of an award-winning franchisee, recognized in 2022 with the International Franchise Association’s Franchisee of the Year Award for Exemplifying Excellence in Local Community Service. The company is committed to equal opportunity employment, prohibits the use of drugs and alcohol on the premises, and supports employee safety and well-being. This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay along with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, life insurance, and meal compensation when eligible. Notably, Outback Steakhouse closes on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, emphasizing the importance of family and personal time.

The Bartender role is both dynamic and demanding, involving tasks such as crafting cocktails with proper safety equipment and recipe specifications, handling customer interactions professionally, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment. Candidates must be capable of lifting and moving items up to 30 pounds, working in varied temperature environments, and engaging in physical activities such as standing, walking, or bending for extended periods. Training includes obtaining Responsible Beverage Service Certifications for locations like California, ensuring compliance with state regulations and responsible alcohol service.

Joining Outback Steakhouse means a chance to work in a supportive, fun environment where career growth is valued just as much as job satisfaction. If you are a motivated individual who enjoys crafting beverages, engaging with customers, and being part of a dedicated team, this bartender position offers an excellent avenue to build a rewarding career within a respected organization.
