Job Description
Red Lobster is a renowned restaurant chain that began as a family-owned establishment with a vision to connect people with seafood and coastal experiences. With over fifty years of history and more than 500 locations, Red Lobster has grown into a beloved dining destination where every seat is an extension of the founder's passion for quality food and memorable moments. The company prides itself on being more than just a place to eat; it is a part of the communities it serves, where new friends turn into familiar faces.
Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a dynamic team that values tradition, community, and exceptional customer service. The restaurant offers competitive weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than $10 per week. Life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits are also available. Employees have access to a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching after one year of service, anniversary pay for eligible employees, discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. The company also emphasizes growth and development by providing training and career advancement opportunities.
The Bartender role at Red Lobster is crucial in delivering top-notch service to guests. As a Bartender, you will greet guests warmly as they are seated, prepare the bar and its stations including pouring stations and glassware before opening, and restock drinks, mixes, and garnishes as needed. You will suggest beverage, appetizer, and dessert sales, and prepare all drinks to standard recipes with appropriate garnishes and glassware. Precision in taking food and drink orders and entering them accurately into the POS system is essential. You will ensure guests are well attended to by offering refills and clearing unused items promptly. Timely delivery and settlement of bills, coupled with friendly farewells to encourage guest return visits, are part of the service standards. Following all food safety regulations is mandatory to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Physically, this role requires the ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds. You should be able to stand for 8 to 12 hours during your shift and work effectively as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking skills. Red Lobster is committed to inclusive employment practices and accommodates individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions successfully.
Red Lobster has ambitious plans for the future and is excited to welcome motivated individuals to their family. It is an excellent time to pursue a career with Red Lobster, where you can enjoy a supportive work environment, opportunities to advance, and the chance to be part of a company that values its employees and customers alike.
