Job Description
Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned restaurant chain with a rich history spanning over fifty years. Founded with the vision to create a unique connection between people and the joy of seafood and coastal dining, Red Lobster has grown to encompass more than 500 restaurants nationwide. Each location is an extension of the founding passion, serving as a place where guests can enjoy memorable meals and warm, welcoming atmospheres. Red Lobster is not just a place to eat but a vibrant part of the communities it serves, fostering a sense of belonging where new friends become familiar faces.
As a Bartender at Red Lobster, you will be an essential part of creating exceptional dining experiences that keep guests coming back. This role offers competitive wages with pay ranging from $16.90 to $25.00 per hour and includes weekly pay with flexible scheduling to support a variety of lifestyles. Employees at Red Lobster benefit from comprehensive options for medical, dental, and vision coverage starting at less than $10 per week, as well as life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits to provide financial security and peace of mind. After one year of service, team members become eligible for a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching, helping to plan for the future. Anniversary pay is awarded to qualified employees, and staff enjoy perks such as discounted shift meals and a 25% discount when dining as a guest.
In this bartending role, you will play a key part in delivering top-notch guest service by welcoming visitors warmly and maintaining an inviting bar environment. You will be responsible for setting up your bar area by preparing pour stations, glassware, and replenishing beverages and garnishes efficiently. Your skills in mixology will ensure all drinks meet standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Additionally, you will use suggestive selling techniques to promote drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handling orders accurately through the point of sale system is vital, along with consistently checking back with guests to accommodate refills and promptly clearing completed items.
Delivering and settling checks in a timely manner reflects Red Lobster’s commitment to smooth and pleasant guest experiences. Bartenders also uphold strict food safety standards to maintain high-quality service and ensure the wellbeing of all guests. Physical stamina and attention to detail are crucial as this role requires standing for extended periods and safely lifting up to 30 pounds.
Red Lobster prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive environment. The company is committed to offering employment and career growth for all individuals regardless of their background. With exciting plans ahead, joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a family that values teamwork, opportunity, and authentic hospitality. This is the perfect chance to grow your career in the hospitality industry while enjoying competitive pay, benefits, and a supportive workplace culture.
