Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Ability to build drinks correctly and suggest beverages
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience using computerized point-of-sale systems
- Ability to upsell food and drink items
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service laws
Job Duties
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes
- Sell and serve food and beverages to guests
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the guest experience
- Maintain knowledge of bar terminology and essential drink recipes
- Interact with guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Use a computer system to ring orders and process payments
- Ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Monitor guest behavior and report concerns to management
- Communicate with managers regarding any unhappy guests
- Take and fulfill to-go orders accurately
- Maintain neat appearance and follow grooming standards
