The Bartender role at Wood Ranch is a vital position responsible for promoting and fulfilling our guests' needs in alignment with the company's high standards. The primary objective of the bartender is to create a memorable dining experience by expertly preparing and serving beverages while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. This role goes beyond simple drink mixing, as it requires interacting with guests warmly, anticipating their needs, and contributing to a positive and hospitable atmosphere. The Bartender oversees all aspects of the bar area, including stock management, cleanliness, and adherence to beverage recipes and safety protocols.

This position requires a candidate who is not only skilled in bartending but is also outgoing, charismatic, and guest-centric, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment. The bartender must comply with legal and regulatory frameworks governing alcohol service while ensuring that every guest interaction is respectful and courteous. Responsibilities include greeting guests with warmth, efficiently processing payments, and performing supporting duties like stocking and side work, which all contribute to smooth bar operations and excellent service quality. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • minimum of one (1) year bartending experience in full-service restaurant
  • must obtain a valid unexpired RBS Certification
  • ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time
  • ability to carry hot and cold plates to guests
  • ability to lift and carry trays with 6-7 drinks
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs. at times
  • must be able to work late nights and unpredictable hours
  • physically able to continuously bend, reach, and twist

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year bartending experience in full-service restaurant
  • must obtain a valid unexpired RBS Certification
  • must be outgoing, charismatic, approachable, positive, and guest-centric
  • basic understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety
  • ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • ability to work well as part of a team
  • ability to follow instructions and respond positively to feedback
  • ability to maintain personal hygiene

Job Duties

  • Greet guest with a warm and friendly welcome
  • anticipate and fulfill guests' needs
  • ensure food and service is to Wood Ranch standards
  • communicate with guests to make a positive lasting impression
  • ensure and promote safety and cleanliness
  • maintain bar area, stocking and setting up
  • ensure all Wood Ranch beverage recipes and standards are followed
  • serve alcohol to guest following safe alcohol service guidelines with local, state, and federal laws
  • interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • perform light duties, including stocking stations and side work assignments
  • communicate openly with management regarding any work-related concerns
  • process payments, including making change for cash payments
  • perform other related duties as assigned
