Located in Tacoma, Washington, the casino offers a wide range of gaming options, dining experiences, and entertainment events, catering to a diverse clientele seeking excitement, relaxation, and exceptional service. As one of the leading tribal casinos in the region, Emerald Queen Casino prides itself on creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere, and a workplace culture that values professionalism, integrity, and community engagement. With a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of both patrons and employees, Emerald Queen Casino is an employer of choice in the local hospitality industry. The casino employs a large team across various departments, including gaming, food and beverage, hotel services, and entertainment, all working collaboratively to uphold the high standards that define its brand.

Currently, Emerald Queen Casino is seeking a skilled and service-oriented Bartender to join its dynamic Food & Beverage team. This full-time position offers competitive compensation starting at $17.02 per hour plus tips, increasing to $17.61 per hour plus tips upon successful completion of a 90-day orientation period. The role is integral to the casino's commitment to delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring a welcoming environment. As a Bartender at Emerald Queen Casino, you will be responsible for mixing and serving beverages to guests, including a broad knowledge of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks. The position also entails maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area, accurately tracking inventory, handling cash and other transactions with precision, and supporting team operations, including barback duties when necessary.

In addition to technical bartending skills, the role demands strong interpersonal abilities to engage with customers professionally and courteously, ensuring a positive guest experience at all times. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and uphold the casino’s reputation for excellence. An essential part of the job includes adherence to all regulatory requirements, including obtaining a Class III B Gaming License through the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission, and possessing a valid Washington State food handler's card. The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, tolerate a smoke-filled environment, and generally maintain mobility for tasks such as climbing stairs.

Emerald Queen Casino offers excellent employer-paid benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, providing comprehensive support for employee well-being. The casino also fosters a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development within the hospitality industry. Employees are expected to work flexible shifts that may include days, swings, graveyards, and holidays, which reflects the 24/7 nature of the casino environment.

Joining Emerald Queen Casino as a Bartender means becoming part of a renowned establishment that values dedication, customer service excellence, and a vibrant team culture.
