Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per state regulation

Job Qualifications

Previous bartending experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or bar is preferred
Up to date certifications required by state regulations
Strong knowledge of drink preparation, mixology, and wine/beer selections
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest hospitality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per state regulation

Job Duties

Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guest according to Mesero's recipes and service standards
Provide exceptional service to guests, taking orders, offering drink recommendations, and engaging in conversation to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout each shift
Ensure compliance with all state and local alcohol service regulations, including checking guest identification and managing guest consumption responsibly
Efficiently use a point-of-sale (POS) system to ring in orders, process payments, and make change
Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including both drinks and food, and be able to assist guests with questions or suggestions
Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner and escalate issues to management when necessary
