Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- able to work days, nights, and weekends as required
- able to work in hot and cold environments
- able to work in noisy, fast-paced environment
- able to read and write handwritten notes
- lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- move and stand for long periods
- walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- dressed neatly and professionally according to dress code
- willing to comply with sanitation and alcohol service policies
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- friendly and able to smile frequently
- skilled in communicating with guests
- able to read and communicate in English
- ability to operate Micros and handle credit card transactions
- ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- basic knowledge of food, drink, and bar service preferred
- prior restaurant or bar experience helpful but not required
- ability to maintain professional appearance
- team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
- keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to sanitation procedures
- maintain personal bank and ensure financial transactions are accurate
- follow alcohol awareness procedures
- assess guest demeanor and notify manager if needed
- follow bar recipes to control costs and maximize satisfaction
- keep station clean and set up/take down tables
- greet guests in a friendly, timely manner
- take accurate food and drink orders
- maintain knowledge of menu items and preparation
- enter orders into Micros system accurately
- complete station side work and manage personal sales
- operate Micros and handle credit transactions
- deliver trays to bar and other restaurant sections
- work efficiently with 'full hands in, full hands out' philosophy
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- complete bar inventories and requisitions
- complete opening and closing duties
- assist in party setup and breakdown
- assist team members as needed
- buss and reset tables
- ensure guest satisfaction by checking back and maintaining drink levels
- maintain positive working relationships with team members
- communicate effectively with guests and team members via Micros
- maintain friendly and professional demeanor
- work in noisy, fast-paced environment
- be at least 21 years old
