Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale hospitality environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be legally allowed to serve alcohol
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe bar environment
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and mixology techniques
- Previous experience as a bartender in a high volume, high-end restaurant, hotel, bar, or hospitality establishment preferred
- A genuine love for culinary experiences and a passion for Japanese cuisine
- Naturally friendly, customer-oriented, and skilled at creating memorable dining experiences
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
- A natural team player who works well in sync with a large team
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and other beverages to guests, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality in every drink
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders, making recommendations, and providing information about the menu offerings
- Create innovative and visually appealing cocktails using fresh ingredients, house-made syrups, and premium spirits, following Zuma's recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and garnishes, in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages, ingredients, and supplies, and communicate any shortages or replenishment needs to the bar manager or supervisor
